Imagine the melt down on here if Sorloth had come on and lost his man at a corner for a Newcastle winner. All complete hypothetical rubbish saying he should have been brought on. We were excellent second half and we'll win enough games if we play like that again

Seems we should have been going for a ready made striker as well as Amadou even if it meant paying over the odds. The Norweigan lad is great but perhaps for next year. Why also gamble on RLc’s fitness he should have had his loan terminated and another loan player brought in. My thoughts in the transfer window were 2 strikers and a goalie were a minimum. Got 1 striker who wasn't introduced in a comfortable situation today with us on the front foot. Also felt the Beast should of started the game, he was on the bench against the Spammers. Shame Kelly got injured but good to see him back. We'll be more solid with him back there.

No idea yet if he'll slot straight into the team either but another week getting his fitness up before Everton and getting to know teammates won't hurt.

he should of come on Roy said he is lacking game time that is the fitness he needs and doesn't give him any so why even bother to put him on the bench. I don't see why he couldn't of even had 4min injury time it's better then nothing. you could see the players on the pitch running out of ideas and missing basic chances so you give fresh guy a chance you have nothing to lose. When you look at the players they have you expect good football which for some reason I think the players are too good for Sam type of football the same thing happened at West ham with him. Everton will be suited against team like us so getting anything out of that game will be bonus. Edited by grumpymort (04 Feb 2018 4.40pm)

Not satisfied with result but I thought we deserved to win and created plenty of openings in the second half and end of first half. I've seen us play far worse. We were much better than Newcastle. If we play like that we'll win more than we lose.
