If only all these things weren't used for political and selfish purposes and people genuinely were becoming better people. Maybe then we could take it more seriously. All this PC stuff has become weaponised in a identity politics free for all.

You don't take it seriously because you feel a bit guilty. It's certainly made me think about what I might have said in my younger days. Fact is, what has been acceptable in the past is not so now.

It's not PC gone mad, it's about being nice to eachother and showing a modicum of respect.

I don't support sacking people for their points of views. That's on the left or right. It's been happening a lot lately and I tend to disagree with it.

I don't support arresting people for 'nasty tweets' and that sort of thing. Call an arsehole an arsehole...block them.

If people are engaged in sexual abuse or harassment then as representatives I think employers need to look at things.

However, support is often more beneficial to society than exclusion.....which just pushes the problem somewhere else. In cases where that is realistically possible it's a consideration. There is a lot of mental illness and many people behave irrationally for many different reasons.

I do think we need to get overt politics out of our education system. This should be done via upholding professionalism and impartiality within the system.....In humanities you need teachers who can present both sides of any political or societal topic without bias outside of a respect for civility.....In many places, especially in higher education, this has gone wrong for many decades now.

Like I said, If people didn't use it to smear a Prime Minister, get a pay out from an employer, use it as an excuse to sack someone or an excuse for their own fecklessness then I might believe in it's sincerity more.

Then you use 'racist' sexist language against people whos demographic you are in. Weird in itself and daft.

White men are often in charge because they have earned the right and run the game.
It seems you want to rig the system so that people who are possibly less capable can get an advantage.

Remember, we all started as equals on day one of humanity and this is where we got to. I see this identity politics stuff as an attempt by the so called victims of the system to get more for themselves at the expense of others. Exactly the same as your White males did. Oh and it is slightly ironic that the PM you want to smear is a woman and you want to replace her with an aging White windbag.

Do you ever ask yourself why this is?

In his position, it's overtly precautious rather than overtly sexist. He shouldn't have to dine alone with anyone he doesn't want to.

As for the part in bold - Yes he would, so long as someone else was there.
