In fairness Man City were a different class. The effort they put in even when they were 5-0 up is commendable. Hennessey probably should have saved at least one of the goals, but he did also prevent a couple too.

Sakho looked short of match sharpness and looked heavy-legged at the end of the game.

Townsend and RLC I thought were our two best players. They both worked really hard and they carried our only real threat. I'm going to be generous and say perhaps Bentenke's knee meant he was told not to make any effort.

Man Utd and Chelsea without a striker? Interesting :/

Another record...most goals against in first six games with none scored? What the f***'s happened to this club?

SP/Owners too tight to invest. That's what.

Our only saving grace is that there are 5 other teams who are still within touching distance of us. Bournemouth, West ham, Swansea, Brighton and leicester

We can only pray that they keep losing to and when we get past the next 2 games we can HOPEFULLY start picking up some points.

I'm not holding my breath though.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Very frustrating. We showed for 44 minutes that we could live with them with Sakho controlling the back door and Loftus-Cheek looking like doing some real damage; then collapsed in a heap as soon as Guardiola tweaked the formation a bit. Puncheon absolutely f***ing dreadful, it was like playing with ten men. Benteke awful as well.

But then this is the team that shows everyone what a joke FFP really is.

very frustrating, hard to accept but I guess we knew this would be the outcome, the records keep on coming!

Saw a lot of positives. No Ward & Punch in starting line up, created good chances and played like a unit first 45. Benteke out - well, Sako won't be any worse as stand in. And soon Wilf is back...finish the next 2 games vs ManU & Chelsea and then we talk business....

Chalk and cheese between 1st. & 2nd. half performances. SP it's time to let your favorite's go this coming window and free up some space in the squad. Cut the deadwood please and get some premiership quality players.

Someone needs to light a rocket up the players backside! they have spent most of the season playing half asleep! I would rather we played a bunch of the u23s at the moment, at least that might play for the shirt more!

These aren't the worst games to play without a striker. We could do 11 behind the ball instead of 10.
