Crook... better off without him. Even if 'he'd' not kept us up, could we have said, hand on heart, that he would have had his heart in the club in the Championship? ..... says it all.

Personally I don't think Allardyce would do that, but that's just what I think. We probably never will get the full story of why Allardyce has gone (if true), just like when Pulis left.
Well I guess we did , now can we move on and stop blaming SP for our fing managers walking.

Could he become the manager? It would not surprise me if we went for Hodgson who has worked with Lee before and probably would be happy to again. I actually wouldnt mind this. His experience should keep us in the league for another season or two while we build up the kitty for the ground redevelopment

Sam's statement in full.. Deeply personal.. Unless he does and dowie and rocks up somewhere else then you know what I take back my angry post from earlier written in the heat of the moment. I thank him for keeping us up when we were in deep trouble. Hes man enough to admit he took the job to write the wrongs of England and to redeem himself which many felt. I am sad he's gone as we were just starting to get glimpses of his sense of humour and personality and I think we could have gone places with him. Thanks for the ride Sam. Beating Chelsea, arsenal and Liverpool (again) and thanks for seeing us safe. Attachment: FB_IMG_1495571813457.jpg (78.93Kb)

Fits the profile of previous appointments and if he could slip the backroom staff of Sam's in would be ideal.

The very best of luck to Allardyce who did a terrific job for us. As 'Yours Truly' will be 65 in November, I can totally understand that Allardyce wishes to spend more time with his family at his time of life.I will always be grateful for the job he did at the club in keeping us up.
