There's plenty of threads about hennessey, do we have to turn this thread into another one!

With all due respect, I admired a save of Foster's and made a comparison to our goalie. Nothing wrong with that, but I got s*** for doing it.

Other than that, I'm very happy with the result.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

Middlesborough today really did look toilet.

They lack firepower. Also think possibly Burnley could be sucked into all of this at the death. Woeful away from home and will of taken a knock today. Watford, Hull and them huge home games for us. COYP !!

They have only won 4 games this season, fewer than any other team. If we have learnt anything from the last few seasons, it's that a few wins are better than a bunch of draws. It's always worth scrapping for 3pts. Boro have perhaps been too cautious this season. Admittedly, they were solid and defensive-minded in the championship too.

They had David Nugent in the Championship. Didn't use him at all this year. Maybe not a good enough PL player, but Negredo surely looks awful in overall movement.

Gestede is quite good though, we might be sorry if they start using him more

Not to jinx things but the postponement of the Spurs game may work to our advantage in the end.
Two more weeks of rest and time to get the squad used to working together and then Watford rather than Spurs. Did fate just hand us a break?

They can't recall him but equally he can't play for us against them either which will be bad news

Great picture there. Sakho a total rock at the back but a fair few more solid performances.

I know alot of people may say Townsend was MoM today, but Sakho makes a significant difference at the back.

The commentators on CNBC were saying that West Brom were poor, but we didn't let them play.

Fantastic result and performance. WBA didn't really have much in their locker but we still did our job. Glad I made the journey.

Very happy for Big Sam. It's starting to click for him as it should. He beat his benchmark today in Pullis. They are both masters of their craft. Pretty it may not be at times. But if you want premiership football, then are both your boys. And he wiped Pullis's team aside today.
The lads deserve their trip to Morroco.
