Since when were we a club to have a player sitting on bench earning £100k a week. Surely a half fit Sakho is better than what we have ?

Are you seriously suggesting it was wrong to sack Pardew who got us into this mess in the first place ??

We were never in the relegation zone under Pardew.

How far we've fallen? Looking at this team bar mcarthur and wilf I see nothing of the palace I love nor the palace that loves me back. If you're going to bring in big timers, you have to get it right. I'd be gutted for parish and "possible" stadium development, but right now I'd happily take relegation in order to get some identity back. They're going to let us down again next week too, very hard to get excited about these "big games" when they don't seem to mean anything to the manager or majority of players.

Very good, but didn't answer my question. What has Saints beating Sunderland to do with Pardew, as poster said put it into perspective!

the fact we had them at home and beat them 3-0? Sunderland beat us 4-0 under Allardyce... Sorry, I don't see what you're missing?

You mean sell our best players, play in a s*** league in front of 14,000 and have to start the process all over again?

Middlesborough pick up a point, which now means we need four points to go above them. Unless of course we thrash them at home.

Borough played well apparently and deserved their point, whereas Sunderland played to the level of their ability and are going down, but with guess who??

We can still do it. Other teams are playing really poorly too. Boro, Swansea and Leicester all poor.

Today wasn't dreadful. Players like Townsend turned up. It isn't over and if we somehow get a run together by the Spurs game, we'll still be able to pick up points from some of those teams.

Much more positive there compared with last week. Need to play the Remy card earlier and not have such blind faith in Puncheon, who actually only started to play after Remy had replaced someone else! Ward was very poor but there was more chasing for the ball and trying to get it back in the midfield rather than the acquiecence they have been showing, and Milivojevic will be excellent after a couple of weeks of actual training - today he was just chucked in the deep end. Wilf needs to go to the sports psychologist. Need Sakho in that back line.

General problem is though we're still trying to soak up too much pressure in our own half and instead of pushing up as a unit we're rushing out, losing the ball and getting caught with men upfield. Better use of the ball by Sakho and Milivojevic should improve this.

Alternatively we can all sit and whine about how s***e we are, if you prefer.

OK until the goal, then sharply dropped in form. Poor going forward throughout the match though.

Have to throw all of the cards on the table against Boro in 2 weeks. Sakho, Remy, Schlupp etc. all have to start.
