The goal Everton scored wouldn't have gone in if the wall had jumped, a matter in which Mananda had been overruled by Delaney. Do folk not think his distribution is better than Hennesey's ? I'm not convinced all his defenders are used to receiving the ball quickly from the keeper instead of watching it getting hoofed upfield, however.

A goalkeeper that doesn't even try is a worry, he is either out of position, not anticipating the shot or lazy. I don't buy the crap, waiting for it to come back off the post or bar, I have never heard such rubbish, the chance is about 1%, but according to you he will be ready.

You could also say that it was his clearance that put Ledley under pressure that led to the first Sunderland goal. Sorry, but it's the Emperor's New Clothes all over again - just because he's come from France and is the number 2 for their national team, people assume he's great. Yet the same people say that WH is no good because he's only the 1st choice for Wales. If WH (or McCarthy last season) had been in goal and not bothered trying to save a shot then he'd have been ripped apart on here.

Did you see the WH goal? No goalkeeper would have had any chance of even moving for that.
