NO CHANCE of getting Remy now his gone right out to 25/1 would of loved him at palace but does it mean we are after someone else

Have they though? They'll have paid north of £35m for that lot. Sure it'll have improved their squad but £35m on that lot after splashing £16m odd on Mitrovic etc in the summer.

Yeah I do agree it's a hearty amount of cash to spend in January but if they do get all 3 then they have bought enough strength to stay up (but no guarantees in football) and would have bought 3 players who will be part of their team for a while and before the summer when it's possible prices will go beyond ridiculous due to the new tv money.

In my opinion if they do get all 3 they would have purchased what I would have liked us to strengthen quality, service and goal scoring.

Still hope we get Remy though :-)

Newcastle and Leicester are two extremes. One is in a relegation battle but Remy is likely to play whereas Leicester are almost certs for Champions League football next season but he could just be exchanging one bench warming role for another.

We are unlikely to be either in Europe or a relegation dog fight but have just signed a striker and have a poor reputation for signing players from Chelsea then not playing them.
