Someone on the bbs said that reports in France say he'll be signing for wait for it.

West Ham

Sorry to say this, but WMU are a far more established PL 'name' than Palace, and are about to move into a brilliant Olympic stadium, and pay higher wages. Difficult to compete against that

Firstly, WHU might be a bigger name, but, let's face it, they've been utter pants for several seasons now and have got out of jail several times when looking like relegation candidates.

As for the Olympic Stadium, it will be utterly lifeless and half of it will be empty most games. They'll all need binoculars to see anything.

Stadiums don't give you advantages. Fans do.

Spot on. We're a club massively in the up. Would be very exciting for players to come and play for us now.

West ham have finished two places behind us in the last two seasons , last season they were just 1 point behind us , so if they were utter pants what would you describe are seasons as? Also regardless of atmosphere at the Olympic stadium , they are going to have 45000+ There as minimum every week , they may even sell it out most games they have the potential to , with the increased revenue and good management west ham have the potential to break into The top 6 , something we won't be doing anytime soon.

Absolute bollox. Another one fallen for the West Ham propaganda machine. Average club, average fans, believe they won the World Cup and have some how bagged a 45k capacity stadium for only 12m in an area where Leyton Orient are the local club, an absolute disgrace.

Fallen for the propaganda machine ? No I just know what I'm talking about , and don't have palace tinted glasses on , they have been a fairly average club yes but have huge potential , so what part is bollocks , do you not think west ham will get an extra 10 k fans in from moving to a state of the art stadium? ,which won't result in increased revenue then no? and if they keep signing players like payet and manage to get the likes of cabaye they will challenge the top 8 and even the top 6 , you seem to be waffling on about nothing , I haven't mentioned west hams history , or them moving in on an orient area and I also haven't said they are a great club with great fans , the facts are this stadium regardless of how they have got it will give west ham the opportunity to become a top club instead of , like you said , an average one.

Arse-licking? I don't think so. Personally I think its an honest assessment. I have always supported Palace and always will. But WMU are in my opinion a club with a great tradition, albeit fallen on somewhat hard times forbquite a while now. But they do have a great opportunity to move to the next level. Once We get ground improvements sorted at Selhurst, we will too.

Thing is West Ham have put themselves into the position that we were in a few seasons ago.
They now wont own their own ground so the only assets they will have will be the playing staff.
A couple of bad seasons and they could well find themselves deep in the doo doo

I hope Cabaye comes here, but you surely couldn't blame him if he chose West Ham, that Olympic move is massive, fortunes spent on the conversion at no cost to Gold & co, agreed at the very highest level so Hearn will get nowhere, while Spurs are away at MK West Ham will become London's number 3 (temporarily maybe), 50k per week, the whole of Essex and East London as their fan base, if you want to be in denial and believe we're bigger and better then be in denial but don't abuse posters who point out something you're not grown up enough to face.
