We got away with quite a few situations throughout the game.

I thought Cisse was sh1t, but it turns out he wasn't quite as sh1t as all our attacking options.

The first 15 minutes of the 2nd half was our opportunity to get in front, but we couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.

To keep on picking KG seems madness to me when Bannan would have been a better option and we might have broke Newcastle down. We don't need 2 defensive midfielders and Jedi is the better of the two. I'm not putting the blame on KG, it's Pulis that needs to be more inventive.

Next week is the ideal game to make changes as we cannot expect much if Chelsea bring their A game (to be honest their C game would do us.

Respect to the 3000 fans that travelled and once again did us proud.

I am, if he could finish from 8 yards, we'd conceivably be 5 points better off at this stage. Woeful.

We switched off right at the end and you will get punished in the top league. Bolasie was the star player but once again we lack that cutting finish.

Your right of course, but that's what costs you money we simply don't have.

As someone posted earlier, we lack a cutting edge.

We don't score flipping goals this is the problem. I'm fed up of watching games where we fail to create chances or create chances and can't score a goal.

It's very frustrating - cliche - you have to score when you get your chance, we simply just need the players to score goals when the opportunity comes.

Bolasie played well, however shooting and shots that look good only look good, they need to go past the keeper.

Fed up of feeling frustrated with watching us score 0 goals when we have chances to score.

Fingers cross Chamakh and Gayle can recover quickly.

Agree. I am a big fan of both of those and KG (as well as Jerome) has really pissed me off lately but KG and Jerome were great today and all of the subs were awful. Not Pulis fault at all today- how was he to know the subs wouldn't play well. He got his tactics bang on and i'm really happy with the performance today.

I would love to see KG's pass completion stats today, he gave it away in key areas 3 or 4 times, and overhit moreorless every diagonal. Not to mention missing our best chance for the second week running.

Dreadful footballer.

Credit where its due, KG wasn't as terrible as usual today. He was one of our more average players rather than flat-out worst.

CJ on the other hand I completely disagree with you. Thought he was utter s***e. Lots of hustle and bustle but he achieved diddly s*** other than squandering our best opportunities with selfishness and / or heavy-handed passes.

KG may well have done well at what he is supposed to do. And he may not be a forward, but that one on one with Krul in the 2nd half was an atrocious miss, which anyone who gets paid a wage in a Premier League team should be able to score.

I actually do agree with the subs being poor.

Bannan was a good idea as Yala was tiring, but that sapped the pace on the one wing. Taking Puncheon off was a huge mistake though. That killed both wings which is where we were taking the game to them.

Guediora on sure, but for KG who was knackered and giving the ball away.

We sat back against a good side when we shouldn't and it cost us. A point would have been a fair result and I'm very encouraged and impressed by the way we played in the first half and the first half hour of the second.

Play like that with Chamakh back and we'll do well against Cardiff, Villa, Fulham and West Ham.

I see what you saying but the players were tired and had put in a massive shift

Plus side, everything except the Norwich result went our way, and they only beat Sunderland. We've got four games that we can get points in, and two we shouldn't.

Shame so many are away from home. But then if they weren't we might be much lower down the league.
