Let's have a look at the timeline on this one.

1) In answer to the specific point that at least we don't have awful owners like Cardiff and Hull I comment that whilst they annoy supporters by changing the team's colours and trying to change the club's name at least they have pumped many millions into their clubs and they don't get involved in footballing matters.

2) Someone answers that Tan does get involved in football matters as he sacked a manager and replaced him with one that had no Premiership experience

3) I replied specifically to that point saying that Steve Parish did the same by sacking our manager and replacing him with someone with no managerial experience at all.

4) I am now accused of having a selective memory by one person and posting a reply that wasn't sensible by another.

I thought your original point was that he was different to Parish as he didn't get involved in footballing matters. Now your defense of that point is to claim they both did the same thing. That's very confusing logic.

People tend to go round in circles when they do not answer a specific question. The question is, do you offer 1,2 or 3 players £40k - £50k per week for 130-180 weeks, plus transfer fees, plus signing on fees, plus agent fees, before next weekend when more players need the chance of top flight football.

sydtheeagle has also gone full circle with the owners should shut up to pipe up.

It's only confusing as Rudy Hedman keeps mixing up quotes and replying to posts that I haven't made so for the sake of clarity I will yet again lay out a timeline

1) I have posted my views that Steve Parish interferes too much in footballing matters.

2) Someone replies that at least he isn't like the owners of Cardiff and Hull.

3) I reply saying that the owners of both Hull and Cardiff pump millions into their clubs and don't interfere in footballing matters

4) Someone else responds that Tan sacked his manager and replaced him with someone else so he is interfering in footballing matters

5) I reply saying that Steve Parish also sacked our manager and replaced him with someone else.

I don't consider the chairman and/or owner sacking the manager to be interfering in football matters as if they don't sack an underperforming manager who on earth will do it.

Argh okay thanks for the clarification. So what you're saying is you introduced an irrelevant point into your argument and muddied the waters - see point 5. When you should have just answered that you didn't think sacking under-performing manager (albeit the the most successful manager in the clubs history) was interfering.

One or two people know my views on the management of the club whereas a couple of dozen more think they do but in reality they don't so I think I'll just leave it there for the time being

Nice posts by Rudi, Laddo, etc. I'm sorry but if I were Ian J, Syd etc I would be slightly embarrassed reading back on some of the rubbish that has been spouted.

Syd, as I alluded to on another thread, most of your posts seem to be made in an attempt to alleviate your own insecurities (and I feel bad pointing them out but wading through them is so tiresome). In much the same way that those bullied at school often become nightclub doormen or policemen in an effort to get some power back, your constant bashing of Steve Parish while at the same time finding ways to sneak in your own modest achievements smacks of someone who is desperately insecure. The club is in a great position and is being run well.

Now that you've mentioned it I am slightly embarrassed reading back on some of the rubbish that has been spouted. As an example your post makes no attempt whatsoever to discuss any issues as you prefer to have a dig at the posters instead in much the same way that those who did poorly at school often become internet keyboard warriors in an effort to get some self esteem

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Well in terms of specific issues, I think the main one was raised a few pages back but didn't get much of a reply. It's along the lines of "what do you do about potential new players on 40-50k per week who want 3-4 year deals and aren't interested in taking a wage drop should we get relegated?". If you look back through the thread you should be able to find it, was quoted a few times.
