Sky sports news reporter “sources say that zaha may not train with palace again”. I hope that means because we’ll have sold him for a fair price, not because he’s trying to force a move. If we could get 60m plus day chambers and jenkinson I’ll take it. Eventually we needed to sell zaha to progress as we need to find a way of winning without him as he won’t be around forever. I f***ing hope not. I’m all for getting in some players as part of the deal as it limits the amount to Inited. But not these two. Arsenal’s defence is appalling and they’re both nowhere near it. Which is somewhat telling. Nelson and some other younger prospects, yes. Genuine cast-offs who haven’t made the grade in years of trying, no.

This is great news, let's Madrid accept Arsenals bid. If this does happen, let's hope Wilf is professional enough to carry on playing the way we need.

Top clubs don’t need him, not consistent enough at the fee being asked, there is better value abroad.

[Tweet Link] They have also apparently approached Barca about getting Malcolm on loan, as well as some Algerian chap on a free. I wonder if this is being fed to the press to encourage either Wilf to try and force things, or to show Palace they don't have to meet their price. If this is the case I can't imagine it would work. Of course it could all just be bullsh*t. Given what Spurs have already spent if Arsenal do pull out then you would imagine that's it for another season of the Zaha Soap Opera.

Whilst I doubt that's real either, he seems to be getting a fair few things right.

Whilst I doubt that's real either, he seems to be getting a fair few things right. I hope the guy in this link is right and that we are eyeing "quality over quantity". My worry is what our scouting team perceive to be quality! Another worry is if he is correct that the Zaha transfer is putting our other business on hold. A lot of clubs making big moves in the market and all we've done so far is sell our POTY.

This is the most worrying bit, does this mean no forwards if Wilf stays?
