The worst thing about this situation , notwithstanding the WBA approach, is that we will not get the services of Bolasie whilst the negotiations drag on. If WBA do get Benteke and we have to peruse other options there is no way Bolasie will be in any frame of mind to put in a performance for us. The solution is get someone signed quick ! Easier said than done no doubt.

Our first three signings all did the biz in a matter of days. None of this poker-playing and screwing around. Benteke and his agent should say they want to Palace and do the deal, or else just eff off. Looks like we are behaving honourably over Bolasie. If he wants to go then he should go with our good wishes. He has been a fabulous entertainer at Palace.

Enough already! Enough of the Benteke / Berahino circus! Stuff it, let's keep our money (and preferably our YB), work overtime keeping Wickham fit and blood some youngsters. Can't be doing with any more of this malarkey.

If Benteke wants to join us he should get rid off his agent. Psrds mentioned agents fees in his press conference today. I have a feeling this is what's holding up the deal.

We've broke our transfer record nearly every season we've been in the division, and our total spending has gone up each year. Our net spend last season was about mid table in the division, so certianly not 'on the cheap'. This myth that we are bad in the transfer market really is boring.
