Some potentially big news being broken tonight by Mark Urban, the BBC's Diplomatic Editor about the Russian interference in the 2016 referendum. Apparently the government have had the IC's report on this for many months but have declined to publish it. It is suggested that it says that the interference was so severe that they are recommending that the result be null and voided and the referendum rerun. The Parliamentary intelligence committee have been examining this report and have submitted their own report to the PM ready for publication, which must be done by next Tuesday before Parliament is dissolved. No 10 are making excuses and saying this cannot be done. I wonder why? I therefore expect the report to be leaked in some way. Obviously the very fact that Mark Urban has this story indicates that he has been given information. This could be dynamite You can read Urban's Twitter here:- [Tweet Link]
So far as I know this in't yet in the MSM. I bet it won't ever be in the Mail! I dont use Twitter.

So this dynamite is on the BBC reporter's Twitter feed but not on his employer's website. What are we to make of that I wonder?

I've now found a short article hidden away on the BBC's website and even the anti Tory BBC seem to think that there is nothing to it other than yet another effort by Dominic Grieve to stir up trouble for Boris Johnson

Interesting article which makes sense to me. Whilst we have a vociferous minority at both ends of politics I have always felt that the "man on the Clapham Omnibus" is essentially fair in this country. Remainers get a huge amount of air time but they are the political class and the establishment. I think if you drill down the average person may not be happy about Brexit but respect the result of the referendum. There is still hope for this country if most people accept the democratic will and that they have lost. It may not seem that way when hundreds of thousands of people march in London but we never count the millions of Remain voters who don't protest. Lets hope the GE is a decisive victory for one or other of the parties so we can put this to bed.

Just wanted to say, screw the Tories and everyone else in parliament other than a handful of people that still care about this country. The fact that we have a whole Tory party that's willing to get behind this "deal" and an opposition that is openly Marxist and an endless stream of fish wives screeching and yet offering absolutely nothing, says all you need to know about the sorry state of our politics.

Agreed. For me it's about who I hate the least and who I think will do the least damage to the economy. Brexit is a risk but then having a Marxist government with their politics of envy is a bigger one. There are no black hats and white hats they're all just grey.

Hopefully the HOL will grow up and stop calling everything they don't happen to agree with, as 'Marxist'. Hammond, as Chancellor, even called the self-employed 'Marxist'. if you get multiple tory canvassers on your doorstep uttering 'Corbyn is a Marxist' it is because they have nothing else to say after 10 years of cutting public services. The conservative party is losing its sane members after a right wing coup and is really the replacement for UKIP.

Unfortunately that is the age in which we live. Everybody is either a Marxist or a Hard Right Winger. A Snowflake or a Racist. Offended or offending.

Ah when we are free we will have a huge free trade deal with the USA. Not so I am afraid brexit pop-pickers. The US "can't make a trade deal with the UK" under Boris Johnson's Brexit deal. Still it is only Trump saying that, the President of the USA. We have Dr.Liam Fox (remember him?) now no longer head of the 'Dept' for leaving the EU, a humble MP thinking as they all do, that the UK will implode without them. Congratulate yourself on never having been one of Dr.Foxes patients. He thinks we shall just go on regardless, why bother with Trump when Papua New Guinea are waiting?
