That’s all nice but it’s not always about where you are but where you could be, especially with the clock ticking. We don’t fully know what’s going on but to assume Zaha only wants to stay is a little naive tbh. Sorry. I agree with you Rudi,I'd be amazed if Wilf wanted to stay. Sadly I think he'll be gone before the season starts.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Take the money for crying out loud ! You must have been on the bevvy mate. He is worth more than 70m. An average Wilf is better than what we will replace him with.

Take the money for crying out loud ! There might be a few Premiership defenders that will disagree with you. When he is on his game he is unplayable... I think he will go and 80 million will do it. My only concern is how do we strengthen the team, let’s be honest here we will without doubt be less effective without him and AWB

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle My only input on this thread is that in my relatively short time supporting Palace (17 seasons going to watch), I've never seen a more exciting, unique player than Wilf. The closest to match him was Bolasie for me and that was only for a handful of games where he was the real deal at Prem level whereas Wilf regularly turns them inside out even when we don't win. It's been an absolute privilege to have been able to support our team with him in it from the sidelines and whether he goes for £60m, £80m or somewhere in between, I'll miss him dreadfully. Once in a generation player.
I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle Sky sports news reporter “sources say that zaha may not train with palace again”. I hope that means because we’ll have sold him for a fair price, not because he’s trying to force a move. If we could get 60m plus day chambers and jenkinson I’ll take it. Eventually we needed to sell zaha to progress as we need to find a way of winning without him as he won’t be around forever.

I haven't seen anything in the media about him willing to go on strike etc and think that this is just someone's vivid imagination working overtime [Tweet Link]
1.25 of this Sky Sports report. It's all rumours and I don't think Zaha is the kind of player to go on strike as he lives for football and not playing is not in him.
