Make of that what you will. Maybe no truth at all but I'll tell you how I feel in such scenarios: I work in remote areas of Australia, Aboriginal communities. You either love it or loathe it. I love it. Whenever a contract runs out I get suitors, and there's ONE main condition that determines my decision: KEENESS. You do not want to be stuck for 6 months to a year on a remote Aboriginal community with people that aren't KEEN about you being there - it can be HELL. So if the article is true, Silva is kind of keen on the Palace job over Watford as it would look significantly less risky, but he's already had a chat with Watford when Allardyce resigns. So, Watford are now keener to get him across the line, but Parish asks him to 'wait' while he has his holiday. So, Silva is getting calls from Watford who have already chatted to him before Palace, and Parish want's him to W.A.I.T while ee az iz oliday... But then it may not be a true article...but then I do recall the less pleasing idiosyncracies of Mr. Parish. Oh but yes! Someone will remind me, 'He's worked so f@cking hard poor rich c@nt hasn't he? And he NEEEEEEEEEDS a little holiday....poor little rich c@nt... (I haven't had a holiday in years BTW).

Don't worry yourself, haven't you seen all the photos in the press of players on holiday. Nothing is happening regarding transfers, just rumours. Is the correct answer! The Transfer Window isn't even open yet!
Cynic or realist? It's a fine line! |

Parish confirms that Silva was never a genuine consideration, just like most of the speculative bollox on here. Attachment: Never Silva.jpg (53.89Kb)

Really wonder if there's any truth in these pellergino rumours. Not one English paper has run with this story.

The players are on holiday mate! Well some have yet to start because of international duty.... Originally posted by Den1923
Hi Alan, its not the past we are talking about its the future, 40mil was a good start but it is not going to make us a progressive PL team, even with that spend we struggled which shows you just how difficult it is going to be with a controlling chairman and a very poor PL squad with a few exceptions, sorry to disagree with you but if we are to have a future in PL we have to invest big time and more importantly get on with it, each day that goes by without a manager and a game plan for next season is working against us
