I haven't read/watched the link as i've never said he's ideal, but personally i believe we could do with a change of direction.
You can't think how things could be worse? Go visit North Korea, Zimbabwe, Iran, Russia, Sudan or Venezuela. Then tell me our leaders are 'screwing us'.

Nowt wrong with Keynes, but you can't pick and choose how you apply it. Basically, you save in boom times to spend your way out of bust times. You can't spunk all your money during the boom and then start quoting Keynes as a reason you should spend now we're broke. Trouble is, if you're going to apply that model, it needs to be over the fluctuations of economic cycles, and governments tend to change more regularly than that Well there you go then!

You don't stimulate the economy by cutting and austerity. Corbyn / McDonnell posit the idea of a national bank to do this. Many leading economists, according to McDonnell in his speech think this is the way forward. I've never understood, though am happy to be corrected, how we can have quantitive easing to help out banks but not another form of QE to invest in infrastucture, entreprenuership and helping small business. I'm sure there is a figure of something like 3 or four pounds back for every pounds invested. Sounds like a good deal to me. Is this the self same "leading economists" that predicted post Brexit Armageddon (and previously economic doom if we didn't adopt the Euro) ? Brown Darling Balls and now McDonell are just tinker men without a fcuking clue how run an economy apart from tax the rich and spunk it all on white elephants like the Millenium Dome.

After one of the biggest global economic collapses in history (08/09)? We're now in a far worse state along with far more debt yet that doesn't appear to be a 'fcuk-up' to you? As for Callaghan, i guess he's also at fault for the Dow losing half of its value around that time?
Brown claimed to have eliminated "Boom and Bust" and his decisions to sell Gold Reserves and bail out RBS (that was rotten to the core with a corrupt boss) left the UK in a weakened state to deal with global financial meltdown. THey admitted as much with the Treasury note saying all the money had gone FFS. They left things in such a sh1t state it will take decades to put right and a lot more hardship. Anyway enough about Labour's inept track record on the economy...... Jeremy Corbyn spoke this morning about immigration: His spokesman told journalists: He is not concerned about numbers, The trouble is Jeremy, 52% of the voters in the June Referendum are concerned about the numbers! Another vote winning strategy for the Tories who are taking the message from the voting public seriously. Corbyn continues to plough his own furrow... as he has done for the last 40+ years oblivious to what the over whelming majority want/need.

Well you should be thankful that Corbyn has said that he is going to tackle the issue of cheap labour and gangmasters. BTW I note you didn't respond to my response about the mugs that highlighted the plight of ex service men and women in how they are not looked after.

I did, but to say again there were mugs there with worse slogans than have been mentioned,as I said in the first place a lefty mate was there.

How many momentum members do you know. That's like me saying all Ukip members are racist (which they are plainly not) Have you more evidence about the mugs other than what your mate said. I would have thought that if the mugs were so bad, the press would have mentioned those rather than the ones they did. As I said yesterday if mugs said what you said they did it's bloody awful. But I'm not convinced they exist. Edited by nickgusset (28 Sep 2016 3.03pm)
