Your astounding news is continuing!

This is from YouGiv itself. No doubt you will claim, without evidence, that they lie. I think what this shows is that they find it very difficult to get responses from “left wing half-wits”! Which is actually unsurprising.:-

Are you sure you don't want to throw in some comment about misogyny, racism or other ism or soy boy commie comment and get it off your inverted hairless chest because I'm on the clock here and have to get on.

Not really. Only of those who decided to vote. Opinion polls assess everyone.

O( course, how silly of me...this government NEVER lies does it? 'weve cleared the asylum backlog'...their latest huge lie!!

As with anything you can approve of those with which you agree.

What does government lying have to do with opinion polling?

Being economical with the truth and putting a positive spin on dubious statistics is what politicians of every stripe do, especially in the run-up to an election. It's not nice, but it's transparent and unimportant. It has nothing though to do with opinion polling.

It was a verbally rhetorical device.

How does it make any difference whether you approve or not? Referendums are not opinion polls! They only count those who vote. Opinion polls sample everyone.
