The below sums up Labours frantic attempts to justify not voting for a GE (those that bothered to turn up of course). Owen Smith Labour "It would NOT be democratic to rush headlong into an election" Owen Smith "The electorate made an historic mistake"
Ian Dale "70% of students are registered to vote at their parents home not at university. You can be registered to vote at university and at home but can only vote once. It take 5 minutes to do online and you have until late November" Labour "yes but people are busy..." Hopefully Boris gets his way today and then we can all have our say. Funny how MPs who changed parties or are in Brexit constituencies want a referendum rather than a GE. I think the public would prefer to judge their MPs first. Still all to play for.

People who call the PM by his first name, like their own cuddly friend, are psychologically damaged. To our chagrin, he is somehow PM, and his name is Johnson. That is his job, he is not your friend or cohort if he met you he would probably think you a right t**t. And he would be right.

Where are we? Well, brexit can only ever be for the next hour or so. So, with the withdrawal bill, which parliament has just approved, now ditched, we leave the EU on 31st under 'no deal'. I think, for the next hour or so anyway.

Its going to be the best election ever if it happens. They’ll be known as the scared politicians that don’t want the election, taking the other parties to make it happen. They’re defeating themselves before it’s started.

It's more like Madonna or Kylie, I call him Boris because it's lazy shorthand nothing more. I don't call Corbyn "Jeremy" as people would ask Jeremy who (I don't mean that as an insult same applied if I said Theresa)? I do call Corbyn "Jezza" when I am being lazy as people get that. Now whether I am physiologically damaged I would disagree although my shrink my have some input into that.

People who take photographs of manhole covers aren’t a good advert for mental stability either so The Magic Grandpa had better watch out.

It's just Boris ok? Dear old cuddly conservative Boris, like our favourite Labrador in front of the fire. Epitomising traditional conservative family values. Mistresses, off-spring not admitted too, record parliamentary defeats, never told the truth in his life. A disaster in every way. Ah yes, traditional tory values.

Yep. He should act like Keith Vaz. You mean Jim The Washing Machine man. I think he is going to be like that Peterborough MP they will have to drag him from his seat. Apparently he has been ill for 3 years I am sorry to hear that in which case for the sake of his mental health I suggest he stands down and goes away and gets better. It would probably be for the benefit of his constituents as well if he has been that seriously ill for that long he can't have been doing a good job for them. Get will soon Jim.
