North of Kharkiv, the Russians have been routed in many places, Ukrainian forces have done an incredible job, if the momentum carries on there is a very real chance of Ukraine cutting off a key supply line into Russian held territory, Russians have sent reinforcements to the area.

Further south Russians are winning and starting to take ground a bit faster.

See the attached jpg these villages are in real danger of being surrounded & cut off and its likely we will see a Ukrainian retreat from this region soon.

If you're interested in what the actual region looks like that is being fought over see this link

In other news Slovakia seems to think its gas is getting switched off next month, we'll see but obvious catastrophic for my B&B, alot of the Ukrainian refugees that were in my city have returned to Ukraine, I have taken in two so far, one headed further West & one went home.

there needs to be a grand Ukrainian counter offensive if they are serious about 'winning' and forcing Russia off its land. But I can't see how that's possible without inflicting major casualties on their own people, or even Russian separatists. If Ukraine hits its own citizens the Russian propaganda machine will go potty, and you can bet the Russian military will position itself amongst 'the people' to make that happen, or fake it!

Zelensky is talking up having 1,000,000 soldiers at his disposal soon (we'll see if that is true in time) he has also recently replaced the head of his territorial defence force so it appears on the surface things are going to happen.

I dont doubt for a second these new recruits will be fully capable & motivated infantry however they will need logistical support & support from Artillery/airforce etc otherwise I cant see them pushing into Russian held territory much, It will be interesting to see how they're utilised.

Cool, however you do of course know that outlets like the BBC completely ignore all the other commentary in Russia that doesn't suit what they want to present.

The BBC produces propaganda by it's own admission (Syria a great example):

The BBC is already highly involved in Ukraine:

Not many people know about the background and activities of BBC media action:

I realise, but honestly I'm not listening to a pile of Russian shyte. I know it all too well, having done several stints across Eastern Europe but better not say too much. I realise I'm biased, completely willing to admit it.
I don't like the BBC but sometimes it's all there is, despite everything I trust them slightly more than Putin and his ista's. Try Russia during election time. In my experience 'a right laugh'. Unfortunately, although highly comical in my eyes, it does have consequences. The corruption is unreal and is so widespread, it isn't hidden in the slightest.
A Hungarian/Russian colleague of mine was told to take a photo, with his mobile phone, of his ballot slip voting for Putin - or else no job. What do you do? He told me, as though I could save him. I said what most of us would say - just do it. Everyone else is, save yourself.

I would be happy with that arrangement if it meant:

1. An end to mass immigration
2. A regime that valued and promoted tradition and generally acted in the interest of it's own people
3. Apposed globalism

I think with both what you find is a level of exaggeration but most of all omission. The bias most often comes in the form of language usage.....obviously it's rare that a European is ever completely objective but there are levels.

It's actually not that easy to find Russian stuff unless you look for it....then again, there are pro Russian stance outlets in the west anyway like the Duran on YT.

The BBC seem mostly to just be presenting whatever the Ukraine say....so we get the 'evacuation' instead of what seems to me to be a surrender in Azovstal.

I don't like too much bias because I want to actually know what's happening. For me, the least BS independent commentator I've come across so far is Michael De La Broc.....he does infrequent streams on the war but they are pretty detailed and objective when he does.

I'll link in his next one.

What interpretation of the word "globalism" are you applying?

And are you suggesting that Russia ticks all these boxes? It may pay lip service to those objectives, but its primary objective appears indefinite rule. Why else would it prevent free and fair elections and imprison opponents on manufactured charges? If it is such a popular party mirroring the wants of its people, present them to those people through the ballot box. Hungary does it (kind of); and I have little doubt Putin could do it; but he does not.

That is weakness, not strength.
