Russia already done that in Cuba back in the 60's . . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

You wouldn't think a Russian troll would bother with a football forum.

Just as a person would wish to defend themselves against a violent, unpredictable neighbour, the people of these nations now wish to also. Hoping to be defended if you're attacked is perfectly natural, not aggressive, nor destablising. Invading neighbouring countries however....

Wasn't Turkey against Finland and Sweden joining Nato?

I'd regard them as western countries myself and was surprised that Sweden wasn't actually in Nato.

Turkey are against it, I think it has a lot to do with countries that have called out Turkey for various abuses. Hence the tit for tat.

It's actually because Turkey claim links to terrorism in both countries – Kurdish militants, specifically. I assume this has something to do with both countries accepting immigration policy. I think the term Erdogan used was a 'hatchery' for terrorists. I'm sure there's some truth in there but also I can't help feeling that it's politically motivated bargaining to help Turkey itself to accelerate its path into the EU.

I wouldn’t mind some tit for tat. I have a garage full of tat but alas no tit.

I must admit, a 'tit for tat' business does sound like a gap in the market or blouse rather.

Pleased to see that after 235 pages this thread is starting to get serious!

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

When it comes to t1ts or on them, I think we should always take things very seriously.
