Indeed Stirling, my comment was slightly tongue-in-cheek. Afer all the successes that the two Gulf Wars brought, and the invasion of Afghanistan.
You get called anti semitic for pointing out reality but I don't think you can really be anti semitic if you like Jews who agree with you on this....Mike Benz, David Smith for example. There are plenty of Jews who are a big benefit to us and plenty....well, whose vision for the future of the west doesn't really have you in it....or has you as a practical serf. Personally just as I like Braverman, I like Jews who are for the west and conservativism......Not the cultural destruction of the west and degeneracy. So I tend to view them as I find them, while noting their over proportionate power base. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Jul 2024 10.50am)

The difference in reaction from our politicians when Russia air strike Ukraine is very interesting to note; Kier Starmer: “Attacking innocent children. The most depraved of actions. We stand with Ukraine against Russian aggression - our support won’t falter.” Sad on both events that this happens but Kyiv wasn’t housing terrorists in a school or hospital. The Palestine conflict can be ended today, the Ukraine one can’t without a full incursion happening.

I note that the media acts shocked and upset that Putin bombed a hospital (he probably did but it's just taken as fact). However Netanyahu has been doing that to hospitals in Gaza for months and they find excuses for it. They also went low key when Ukraine bombed children on a Russian beach. These people just write whatever they are told to. They pretend to have principles but really they just have interests. We should have been working to end both these wars as soon as possible. Instead of which our leaders have found reasons to turn a blind eye or escalate them.

You invent whatever reasoning makes you comfortable - go and look at the images of Gaza; every building in there must have been housing terrorists given they've destroyed them all. It's genuinely mind-blowing people still buy this stuff. The Ukraine conflict could be ended today in exactly the same way you think is a sensible suggestion in the middle-east; a complete and unanimous surrender from the occupied nation - what's the difference?

The days where Nelson would wear the Admiral's uniform and march up and down deck in full view of French snipers is long gone.....We probably saw the last of that in WW1 where officers would lead attacks and often were taken out quickly. No, this idea that hospitals and high population areas are only used by our enemies and that all behaviour by your own side is fully above board is just not reality. The Israelis recently undertook a hostage rescue mission and their means to getting to the location was by hiding in an ambulance. They rescued hostages but a lot of innocents died as well. It's not cowboys and Indians, goodies and baddies.....It's you against them. Well, not me as I think both wars are a disaster and I never supported involvement in either....outside of humanitarian aid and negotiation. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Jul 2024 11.08am)

It's just the big boys seeing who can kill the most innocents, until someone blinks. We only have to watch, others have to live it, and die by it.

So how come a number of Hamas members were listed as killed from the strike? They just happened to be walking through were they? It's genuinely mind-blowing how ignorant some people are to the propaganda and lowest-of-the-low tactics a terrorist organisation like Hamas will pull. Hamas have been using human shields for years. But you invent whatever reason you want to defend the actions of October 7th. Delusional.

[quote=bright&wright;3885131] So how come a number of Hamas members were listed as killed from the strike? They just happened to be walking through were they? Delusional. ———————- You accuse me of inventing things while you can’t make your point without pretending I have defended October 7th - it’s very obvious why people who defend Israel deliberately lie like this; because there is no other way to maintain their completely nonsensical position. It’s amazing how the IDF always know exactly how many Hamas members they have killed, but can’t ever offer a civilian death toll - and you accuse others of being ignorant to propaganda. One day someone might be able to defend Israel’s conduct without having to lie and misrepresent, but I’m yet to see it happen.

Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Jul 2024 8.35am) Thanks - I certainly have never and would never defend a massacre of civilians. Honesty is more important than ideology - I wish our politicians and media could figure out the same.
