And just for a second, the mask slips.

Truth hurts doesn't it and you have to come back with the same old cr@p every single time. I suggest you put YOUR shovel down and look in a mirror and see what an idiot you are!

Lower deck lawyers I have sh1t them!!

I have no need to comment any more or desire to drag this kind of nonsense out when there are much more important things happening.

If you want to continue to make an idiot of yourself then do it alone. I won't help you as you are more than capable of doing that on your own.

Johnson lost yet another vote in the HOC today meaning that MPs will have longer on Saturday to debate and also propose amendments.

That could actually be quite significant, maybe allowing Benn to kick in.

But why are they voting on this so soon, surely the 'deal' will be a complicated international treaty, how will they have sufficient knowledge to decide within only 2 days?

It's not up to Juncker!

Johnson was apparently angling to get the EU to rule out an extension in the wording of their agreement but that seems not to have happened. I doubt very much whether they will express a view on this until after the UK Parliament has decided.

Although I acknowledge it would only take one member to veto it and it's all over.

Labour, LibDems, SNP and DUP oppose this deal (and probably a few Tories). There is no way this is going through.

Cannot see this not being extended with more bollox ensuing.

As a matter of interest does anyone know how many Remain supporters on this thread were adamant that Boris had no intention of trying to get a deal?

I am still sceptical that Cummings may have set this up to fail and that he is expecting that the result will be a refusal by the EU to extend, thus forcing a "no deal" exit on the 31st.

Haha

Nope. Just reminding others to read and use whatever small amount of intellect available to make sure they’re not jumping the gun

I agree with W12 - as much as I’d like it to go through, as someone who wanted a deal, this will not get through Parliament.

However - contrary to most Brexiters on here who seem to have completely forgotten how many false dawns they have had, no-deal exit on the 31st by default is far from certain. If you do some reading you’ll understand why. Just keeps rollin on

Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

There's definitely plenty of opposition. I do wonder if brexit debate fatigue will set in though, and it might just get over the line. I always figured that the potential solution would be one that nobody was entirely over the moon about, and that seems to sum this up.
