Not sure about that from Junckers whether it is just up to him.

Looks on his last legs is he really all there.

Funny you have never mentioned this before

Seconded. At least read up on the detail before posting. I suppose that would be too much to ask.

Getting touchy?

Even after we leave I expect the legal challenges to continue.

As a matter of interest does anyone know how many Remain supporters on this thread were adamant that Boris had no intention of trying to get a deal?

Be interesting to see if it does get through parliament, I can't see all of the ERG and DUP going for what appears to be basically the same deal as May failed to get through.

I suspect that more Labour MPs will vote for the deal or, most likely, abstain.

Brexit means Brexit, my arse.

My view is that I do not think it will get through. If this is the case a GE should be called immediately but Labour do not appear to be up for the fight.

We shall see but I think it probably will. Politicians must understand that the population are bored of the whole process now and just want it over.

It's a Brexit of sorts although certainly not the hard one that many wanted. It's not a good deal but perhaps the best one that the EU would give us.

I don't like your truth.

Your assumption that 'populist' is wrong by definition is plain daft.
It has no bearing on the validity of any argument.

Populism is a word adopted by the Left to belittle opposing opinion and nothing more. It has replaced the ever increasingly incredible terms related to racism and the Right wing.

There isn't my truth or your truth. There is just truth.

"Populist" is a term applied to both left and right leaning politicians by observers whose own political views are also mixed. It isn't "wrong by definition". It just is. It is a style of politics which has become more apparent in recent years which, in my view, is an unhealthy development driven by the ability of certain politicians to use modern media to reach the people directly without the filter of objective analysis by informed observers. Thus facts become distorted and lies become truths.
