Of course.

I should have just called them all one newspaper, just so you could pretend that there are more right wing newspapers.

Silly me.

You should’ve either condensed the Sunday papers down into their original paper or expanded the second list to include the Sunday papers. That’s pre school level objectivity. Newspapers such as the Sun & Metro also don’t magically become left wing because you say they are. Seriously, are you this disingenuous or just stupid?

Yes. Predominantly leftist.

Have you not heard the phrase Tory Press Barons. They still wield considerable influence.

Thus, you are wrong in terms of sales. Tory far outsell the disparate lefty rags, most of which have modest or simply small readership.

I am sure I can find a reactionary right wing rag somewhere that I can chuck into the mix to "oppose" the Morning Star.

And you have conveniently included the Sunday sister papers for the "left", but not the right, presumably in order to prove imbalance.

The Independent is what is says it is [even though it does not say what you like].

Metro??? Wrongly filed Hrolf.

The Sun? Even if correct, they have jumped ship before and jumped straight back to their natural home of populist right.

Finally, "left"? 3 of them are left/center and not always supportive of Labour.

Aren't newspapers just examples of confirmation bias? They're not influencing many who don't already agree with their viewpoint.

Here, by way of an appetiser, is a link to the front page of the Morning Star.

I could have added other publications to both lists, but virtually no one cares about them.

My response was to the suggestion that there were more right wing papers, which is clearly crap by any reasonable measure.

That is because there are less of them.

Thanks for the laugh.

I didn't think even the most committed hard right enthusiast actually thought that. You learn something every day. Some are even more deluded that the rest.

Who cares, the number of people reading newspapers is declining at an ever accelerating rate.

Buying paper, yes. Online, not so sure.
