The only Coptic christians I have ever met were some of the most peaceful, calm and inspiring people I have ever encountered. I have no idea whether there are any Islamophobes among the Coptics in Egypt but from my own experience I would doubt it. They seemed prepared to live and let live and always willing to go the extra mile when needed.

Yeh, just imagine You’ll need to use a lot of your imagination It’s not like Yaxley-Lennon has any history is it? Somehow such things always happen to him. Like when he had to run after someone in order to punch him after the guy viciously walked away. Also, it isn’t like he has a vendetta against Muslim South Asians and seeks every opportunity to find individuals to vilify and then use those as proof that they are all wrong uns. Nope, never does that, Heaven forfend. But what would you do if you were in that position when your children were younger?

Bore off Wisbech. 'Islamophobia' is a meaningless word designed purely to stifle debate about or criticism of Islam or its followers for whatever reason. And the word 'populist'? Seriously? You might think it is a clever pejorative term but it is actually just an admittance that you hold a minority and increasingly unpopular and out of touch opinion. People are moving toward more radical positions because they are now beginning to see the reality of our situation rather than believe the avalanche of propaganda that they are fed in the media. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (07 Mar 2020 10.03am) Is that the best you can do? Declaring an argument is "lost" just because you disagree with it? I suggest you don't apply to become a general. You are as entitled to your opinion as anyone else. But so am I! Populist sentiment is on the up all over the world and you are riding the wave. Waves crash though when they hit the beach called reality. Everything turns in it's time. Human progress shows that and it will again. Just be patient. Enjoy your moment though if it makes you feel happy and validated.

I just don't believe myself and think it has been the source of many problems. I also acknowledge that it brings comfort and purpose to many people where it exists benignly. I just want religion to be a personal and private matter and not any part of public life. Most certainly never an official requirement or state approved. That's cleared that one up then.
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

I concern myself with the immediate future that I can affect, albeit in a tiny way. I don't intend to remain mute while watching my country get destroyed so that some old idealistic dreamer like you can keep dreaming, undisturbed by the voice of reality.

It seems that the lefties on here have found him guilty as charged because of his previous but those same posters will not admit that grooming gangs are of predominantly pakistani origin Oh but we don't say that. In newspeak the word is 'Asian. Just to confuse them with Chinese, Japanese, Tajikistan....wherever. cos the BBC are oh so truthful.

I waited before giving judgement on this event but here Robinson records a call between him and Police and it's effective evidence that what Robinson said was true and that those on this thread pouring scorn on him are once again wrong. As has been said, they aren't interested in the truth and should be judged accordingly. Robinson is perfectly justified to view the Police as we judge them.....with distrust and scorn. [Tweet Link]

And by extension the lying media reports that distort and omit in their urge to remove any suggestion that Robinson might have done something justified. These people are scum.

My conclusion was based on the comments posted here, as are all others about the attitudes expressed by anyone. As I haven't noticed any reticence from those who I regard as demonstrating Islamophobic characteristics to restrain themselves on forming and expressing opinions then I think I am entitled to do the same. Don't you? Islamaphobic characteristics.
