Saxoneagle tells family that the upcoming race will be won by Border Subject, a 14/1 shot. Family laugh and ask how much was staked. Nothing, replies Saxon but ut will win Nag romps home and the £5 which Saxon could have turned into £70 still resides in his wallet. Bugger

Today there's a lot more to look at, and the nap is Nuit Sombre (Newcastle 3.30). I would also recommend Scott's View (Sandown 7.20), Froglet (Yarmouth 5.40) and Zagaleta (Pontefract 2.20).

Winnings were £28.98 Win @ 2/1 plus stake £3 Total £30.98 Is that not how it works? I thought your figure was WINNINGS only If not then my winnings calculations were all pete tong when you were on hols
