incredible double standards by the UK Personally, I consider Israel to be a terrorist state, and anyone waving their flag to be a supporter of terrorism. (one person's terrorist is another's Freedom Fighter) Watch as civilians are killed millions displaced from their homeland and their communities and razed to the ground. The Western Governments will then support the Final Solution of Israel then building new Israeli settlements on the stolen Palestinian land. How is this not illegal ? Genocide ? Ethnic cleansing ? What you choose to consider is up to you as luckily you live in a country where freedom of speech and thought is allowed although not always practiced. Hamas is a proscribed organisation so is a terrorist entity in the UK. Israel is not. If you do not condemn Hamas then you are supporting terrorism, like Corbyn.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Hamas have no humanity and control Palestinians every waking hour. Stories will and are emerging whereby residents are being told to stay in Gaza. The only reason would be for media coverage to show the deaths when they come. Why arn’t Hamas actually driving these people to a safer place in their vehicles or assisting them.

Waving Palestinian flags, supporting Palestine etc - not an arrestable offence. Waving Hamas flags, openly supporting a terrorism organisation - arrestable offence. Thank you, I knew I wasn't too far wrong & not spouting bullshyte as NE14T accused me of doing.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Just seen images of Hamas holding babies and toddlers who are hostages. Kidnapped a disabled young lady. I would call them animals but that is unfair on animals.

Do you side with the Palestinians who cheered and spat on the naked corpse of a girl paraded through Gaza by the 'freedom fighters' that murdered her?

I think that the virtue signalling is getting a bit out of hand. There is a huge difference between supporting the Palestinians' rights and agreeing with the murderous tactics of Hamas

Avoiding a wider regional war is existential with nuclear...but again, modern politicians like to play chicken.....Personally I don't regard any of the people in power as worthy of it. It looks like a regional war is far more likely now.....just a matter of when and not if....some way has to be found to keep it conventional when it does happen. This was always the consequence of putting Israel there.....That country is either all of Palestine or none of it. There is no justice in it....but what I'm about is not importing conflict into our country...which we already have been doing.

To allow Muslims to settle here in such large numbers was a mistake of staggering magnitude. 'Stupidity' on that level suggests intent. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (14 Oct 2023 11.43am)

I am sure that Israel would use a nuclear device if it is was clear that they were on the verge of defeat by multiple attacks from Lebanon, Iran, the remnants of Hamas and potentially even the Egyptians. Bizarrely, that may be one of the reasons why the US navy is in the region to try and ensure that this war is concluded using conventional weapons. Their presence being a safety valve; in terms of being able to add intelligence and firepower if Israel looks to be heading for defeat, thereby preventing the nuclear option. They’d probably be further hated by the hardline factions but at least they would have prevented WW3 from starting in 2023/2024.
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

It's the destruction of American soft power in the region, which is a win for Russia/China/BRICs. America's foreign policy is the predicted disaster many of us feared it would be. Biden projects weakness and to compensate his actions cause more problems than they solve.....Like giving a scared woman a gun.
