Nobody could possibly question by devotion to the club, having being an ardent supporter since the 60s and following the team around the country in all weathers. Apropos the FA Cup Final, my views were articulated on HOL and I have no desire to rake over old coals. First game 1961. Been to Bury, Halifax, Chesterfield what is your point? You always show a negative attitude towards the team and will never criticise a ref

Absolutely. There should be a 'buffer' in which case the 'offside line' should be (i.e.) 5 times thicker than it is. If the attacking player is beyond this thicker line, then he is definately offside. Benefits of this system is that the benefit of the doubt.

Apropos referees I have consistently averred that they are human and of course err from time to time, having to make split-second decisions in fast-moving scenarios.

An 'independent' panel has ruled that Forest should have definitely had a pen v Everton & that VAR(Stuart Atwell - Luton fan) should've intervened . . . [Link]
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

But VAR is also getting decisions wrong which is not in a fast moving scenario

The thing about subjectivity in football, as Willo bangs on about, refs are human, so are VAR refs, they all have different opinions on the same action. I'm so glad I'm not refereeing these days, back then everyone one knew & there were less mistakes than there are now.

This might bring a smile to many faces, with the exception of one, Mark Clattenburg has resigned from his role at Forest, wonder why? . . . [Link]

To sum up VAR this season would not take many words. One word would likely suffice.
