We were always going to have to sell at least 1 of our stars this summer and for me I would prefer it is MO than Eze. Smashing player but he could not be going to a worse club. Good luck to him.

This was being said two or three weeks past. If it’s true the player is doing business with little regard to the club. Where does the club come in all of this?

All this says is that 'Personal Terms' have been agreed, they've been agree for approx 4 weeks, this is nothing new. Caicedo has not been sold to L'pool as he has refused to go(sky/bbc), so them on the s/coast haven't got 'loadsa money'.

We are just about to find out what release clause he has. For me the club has to dig deep. Better to have a hacked off Olise than no Olise. Worrying times

Chelsea agreed personal terms with Tyler Adams, but are not pursuing him now, that club is a circus and they are agreeing deals with many players, Olise is happy to stay unless Palace agree a fee with Chelsea, also the activation clause only apply to champions league clubs.

Mate totally agree - it’s been obvious since the start of the window that we’ve been looking to offload one of our “star assets” to fund our necessary recruitment…!! I’d take CHO and Broja as perms with Hall on loan for Olise all day long - IMO that’s the deal SP and DF should be trying to do..!! On Olise he’s injured- hamstring that required surgery - Roy said today “out for a considerable time” - who knows how he comes out the other side - game is littered with “quick players” that never fully recovered from serious hamstring issues..!! Beyond that Olise has always seemed to me as being “moody” / never really bought into playing for Palace - despite the opportunity we’ve given him..!! So I guess in summary - we were always looking to offload one of our “star assets” to fund our recruitment - from my perspective Olise wouldn’t bother me that much for the reasons I have mentioned..!! All that being subject to the right deal for Palace..!! COYP
