He was off the pace the first few games with cramp, adjusting to the league. Not before Roy arrived. Understandably it took time for Doucoure to settle into the pace and intensity of the Premier League. He was playing on the stretch when trying to win the ball and got booked regularly. And lucky to stay on the pitch a few times. He's improved under Roy and not committing to tackles he has little chance of winning. I have high hopes for his continued improvement next season.

Isn’t this ‘will he or won’t he stay’, situation needing an answer ASAP or we will lose out on potential replacements? Same could be said for the managerial position, sort it out now.

As far as the managerial situation is concerned it was like this. Before Viera, was taken on. Here we go again maybe.

I guess it’s like most employees ; Wait on a pay increase before signing - see what’s out there If Nowt bites then sign - Such is life I’d like to see him go so he can gets his chances & monies Sometimes just have to move on & evolve both him & Palace Yet I thought it would be good to get a manager signed that could draw better

CHO - from Chelsea. Decent player but has struggled this year I think in Leverkusen he was mostly on the bench. Plus his wages. Would rather have someone like Jack Clarke or Ismaila Sarr who is more versatile can play LW, RW and ST.

The waiting game being played by Wilf and those advising him show this is about one thing only. Money. Doubt he is that bothered about European football. This is his last big pay day and do you know what? Good for him. But longer he leaves it maybe better for us. If he chooses not to accept our contract now and another club does not come in with the mega bucks he wants or indeed on the table from us, maybe worth us offering a less generous deal. Mind you in general what really irks we is we allegedly have a policy of only offering reduced terms one year contracts once a player hits 30 We have lost good players like Kouate because of it. We appear to ignore that policy for Wilf.
