it's been mentioned often that it's the corporate hospitality that will bring in the significant extra amounts for new high end facilities - but that leads to the same point you are making which is there won't be nearly as much of that if we end up in the Championship

There’s talk this should finally start soon. Does anyone know how the extra seats will be allocated season ticket wise? I’ve got 3 season tickets and although the seats are good, I could do with a change and a decent bar. I watch developments with interest.

I have a decent seat in the main stand, I like it because its maybe 60% up so great view of the pitch but more importantly for me its in a row of only 3 people, right by the entry / exit stairs just a short hop to either the bar or the loo, at my age I don't need to be clambering over long lines of supporters every time I need to pee ( especially after having a few beers before the game) -

My concerns are that in upgrading the main stand, presumable there will be additional foundations / strengthening beams added running through the existing seat areas before they add new sections above & outside ? in other words will the existing seating arrangement's / rows be altered ?

Does anyone know ?

I am not averse to choosing new seats when the time comes but having spent so long overseas I only have maybe 2500 points so I could be quite a long way down the queue.

Hopefully Pierre, when he has the next meeting with the supporters club thingy can get some questions asked / maybe some clarity on how things are likely to go.

Indeed, at least with modern technology, providing they load the details of any new seating arrangement's properly you should be able to get a feel of what seat your buying - aisle seat, length of the row etc etc, I know some stadium websites actually do a "view from your seat" so you feel more invested in the purchase -

At least as existing season ticket holders we will have some idea of how things will be from the stadium images on the screen but there's no accounting for an newly installed, previously unlisted support pillar right in the line of sight between you & the goalmouth -

There is talk of CPFC asking the league to play the first few games of next season away because of the construction work so its doubtful we will even have the opportunity of a practice run -

Its a tad irksome given that once you commit to the seas your in it for the whole season & its a lot of money to lay out to find that your not happy -

Wasn't there some thinking that the new section(s) would be built shrouding behind / around & over the existing sections to minimize disruption (I think Liverpool stand was done on the same way) obviously its not as simple as all that & for sure the existing main stand will need work doing to it as well so I dont doubt that there will be disruption - it would be good if once the work starts the club issue a kind of building plan / phases of anticipated completion with rough time lines for each phase
(on the phases where supporters / existing season ticket holders are impacted) so people know what to expect.

Let's hope most of us are still alive in 3 years time, we ain't getting any younger.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
