“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I always think managers have preferred systems. The classic is Klopp, no surprise it's been worked out. At Palace I would agree we need a rethink. Putting Zaha central may be something that changes the side. No more Edouard or Mateta. Edouard with the ball at feet has the pace of an old woman. I dont think other teams have worked out Vieira's formation, our players dont seem to have worked it out, yet!

No the original reply to the comment where i comment on remarks made about PV then add about OR. Keep up! I agree with this.. He is tactically inept, cannot motivate the players, seems to have blurred perception of performances, fails to see opportunity in matches to get more from them. Also i feel Osian Roberts is not helping matters. Vieira changed the formation against Wolves for second half, which contradicts your point.

From the Sky Sports match report ; “ Patrick Vieira made a tactical switch at half-time to shake up his side - Zaha taking a more central role just behind Odsonne Edouard, switching with Eberechi Eze - and it paid off instantly. “

In the interview on the pitch after the game Zaha claimed he decided to come inside and change his role himself.
