100% no.

The game is too fast now. 10 years ago this was the sort of thing you could do. But being a good passer as a CB, is exactly that. Limited pressure on the ball, always facing play. He can take his time and pick a pass.

Agree.

He likes to knock out the long ball from the back, as mentioned, under little pressure (they still are fantastic not knocking that).

Playing DM you have to be more mobile and cover more ground (he is and most certainly would not) plus you need to play the ball quickly and a lot shorter too, a very different scenario from those 'quaterback' ones.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Makes sense for Everton to ask for CG on loan as part of a Gordon move. I think that's the way he's now headed sadly.

Sadly yes, although the rumour is that Everton want either CG or Broja on loan as part of a Gordon deal. I suggest their need for a CF is greater. If, though, CG does go to them, he'll be back doing a Baggies job in an attempt to avoid relegation (hopefully unsuccessfully).

Gallagher comes from a family of Chelsea supporters and his hero is none other than Frank Lampard.
Ashley Cole is coaching at Everton.

If Gallagher gets them Gordon then he will go to Everton on loan - simple as that.
The only fly in that ointment is if Chelsea decide to sell him rather than loan him.
He will fetch a good price and it is possible that Everton won't be allowed to buy him due to FFP.
I would be delighted to have him back with us but I doubt very much that it will happen.

Did it with the Brighton deal and Colwill so suspect that could be on the cards. Whoever goes, him or Broja, would probably walk into the Everton line up and definitely get more game time than at Chelski.

Is that relevant though as our very own Wilfried Zaha and his whole family supported Arsenal.

Conor Gallagher knows what it's like to play for a struggling team as he spent a season helping West Brom get relegated and he isn't likely to want to repeat the experience, especially when his supposed hero Frank Lampard is rumoured to be one of the first managers to get the chop this season.

And i think more game time at Everton than Palace.

I expect that Dele Alli thought he'd get more game time at Everton too

My best mate knows the whole family. CG's all time hero is NOT Frank Lampard
