We could then have considered his footballing abilities, but unfortunately it looks like that isn’t ever going to happen, so yes, we are stuck with the same Wickhamesque comments.

At least Wickham gave us a few decent goals to remember the only thing memorable about Nathan Ferguson is erm, absolutely nothing.

Whisper it quietly but NATHAN FERGUSON came on as a sub for the last 30 minutes of the recent U21 match against Stoke. Sadly, it's reached the point where you wonder how long it will be before he gets injured again. We can but hope that this time it will be different, which would, of course, be a great but welcome surprise. Edited by doombear (05 Mar 2024 4.19pm)

Maybe you grow out of it, but I think that’s probably wishful thinking.

Edited by doombear (05 Mar 2024 4.19pm) It had reached, nay passed, that point 18 months ago! I don’t believe he will ever start another first team game for us. Good to know he’s back playing again though and hopefully he can find some competitive game time in the future at some sort of professional level.

Will any of us still recognise him if he plays?

Don’t get the negativity… he is a very good player.. he can play right across the back line and will be like a new signing.. great character too which has helped him pull through… only wish him well.. would be great at Left wing back ….

I just hope he manages to have a career in the game. It would show character on a different scale. You'd assume Premier League football would now be a bridge too far. But never say never.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
