Of course, they have. When the BBC is pulled up, it listens and responds. It also gets threads here chortling with delight.

It's GB News under today's spotlight. Maybe you would like to address that rather than resort to whataboutery?

It's not the majority. No-one in their right-mind thinks that it is. Only those whose minds are on the right do.

That GB News gets criticised by others is hardly surprising, or unreasonable. It does plenty itself. No-one objects to opposing views, so long as they can point out where they go wrong.

Ofcom is not an ultimate measure of bias.

If you think that the BBC and ITV are not Left biased or woke obsessed, then you must live in a parallel dimension.

This.

What matters is not what you, or I think about the BBC's reporting of the event. It's what Ofcom think and do.

Voicing an opinion is fine, but the actual power to instruct change lies with Ofcom.

Ofcom's opinion has a lot more impact than yours or mine does.

Only those on the right think the BBC and ITV are left biased or "woke", which is just a popular current right wing insult for progressive thinkers.

Those in the middle know it's nonsense. They are on the correct track, running straight ahead towards a modern future. Not at right angles, or backwards towards yesterday.

Remember all those lefties who predicted that GB News would die a death? Looks like the gap between belief and reality was certainly maintained there.

I say that while knowing that GB News only has a few presenters and regulars that I would call genuinely conservative or socially conservative at least.

Mark Steyn is sadly missed but has his own YT channel.

Great. You can have an opinion but it doesn't matter. That makes paying for the BBC so much better.

You can have an opinion but the Woke Taliban will make sure your career is trashed and, if they can possible do it, instigate legal action against you.

It wasn't just "lefties" was it? It was almost everyone not on the right and, whilst it hasn't yet died, there's plenty of time yet.

I just looked up it's audience figures. Last month it had 0.41% of the total. CBS had more than double that. Sky had 8.92%, Channel 5, 6.89%, Channel 4 9.28%, ITV 22.09% and the BBC 34.59%.

So they have a way to go yet. Now I know you will say that's the total for all channels put out by a broadcaster, but it is nonetheless instructive. GB News broadcasts at least 18 hours every day and is purely a news and current affairs channel, attracting a very specific minority audience.

They are a minor player in the overall picture, who will never become mainstream unless they change their approach, which would alienate those who they now appeal to. I think they will peak, stagnate and then fade quietly into the swamp they crawled from. Hastened, no doubt, by Farage leaving to front up Reform.

Ofcom is our regulator. Not mine, or yours or any other critic of the BBC, but appointed to ensure the standards set by our government are adhered to.

Your opinion matters, but only in the same way that every opinion matters in a democracy.

Would you have the BBC regulated by Twitter or, heaven forbid, by those who populate these pages.

People are free to cancel bookings, or refuse agencies. That's their right. Other agents and venues are available. If people want your stuff they will find it. If your career gets trashed, then it's always you who trashes it by behaving trashy. Who has ever had legal action instigated? Unless, of course, they have broken the law.

I thought Witchfinder-General Wisbelch would be on the case.

People are free to cancel booking or refuse agencies you say, yet on another recent thread you were parroting that a bakery should be forced to have political slogans on its cakes.

Who has had legal action instigated? You can even get arrested for silently praying these days and kids get police harassment for scuffing certain books.

Are you seriously trying to convince us that you can't use the internet to look up the meaning of a word?

Try 'What is woke?'

It's not so much what it is, but how it is used for political purposes. How it impacts on the majority, and how it sets a double standard.

So if it’s not so much what it is what’s the point of googling ‘what is Woke’.
Much more awakening for some of us would be your explanation of how it impacts the majority.
