Today there were no home testing kits to deliver and nowhere at all in England to go in for a PCR test, however, you could get them in NI,Wales and Scotland.Probably qualifies as gov incompetence in a pandemic, you decide.

As you may expect with Johnsons shabby outfit.

NHS pensioners free prescriptions about to go.

I thought the Raab announcement was a distraction for something,...
Who'd have thought it ?

Only for pensioners between the ages of 60 and 65. Not much consolation for those affected but it won’t include everyone.

‘Pensioners’ between those ages are really the ‘early retireds’ (myself included) so not
OAPs in the true sense.

I have to say that I was astonished to learn that I didn’t have to pay a prescription charge and think that any introduction as long overdue.

Raab to claim overhaul of human rights law will counter ‘political correctness’ - [Link]

That's a nice soundbite to throw out there to get people on side, but does that really do justice to how it would be overhauled. If people worry about covid rules etc they should rightly also worry about where this might lead.

Sure there are some positive changes that can be made, but there's plenty there that could be messed with to impact us all. We already see pushed to infringe upon protest and the like.

I'm highly uncomfortable with what's happening.

We can frame and administer our own laws, we don't need some outside body doing it.
