Not the prettiest game to watch, but we got that win. As for Eze he reminds me of a lad that played in our Sunday league team and even looks like him.Whilst the rest of us were playing like we were running through porridge, our stand out player was gliding, literally gliding about the pitch. Either foot he left the opposition for dead, but what I like about him is he doesn’t get phased by anything, he doesn’t get angry, he lets his football do the talking. Sometimes I wish a bit of this would rub off on Wilf. As for yesterday’s goal, as soon as he dropped his shoulder to create the space the ball was in the back of the net!

Where did you get that Ayew was a centre forward?

There are not many players with his composure on the ball. Even on the edge of our own box defending he is calm and makes the right decision. A brilliant signing. Interesting that his goal came when we went into 3 centre midfield players in the second half with him as the attacking 1 of the 3. It will be interesting to see if that’s how we line out against Newcastle.

Riedewald should be playing from the start, does the simple things well and doesn’t waste a pass. Provides the perfect cover for the back 4. Your right he does, we looked a lot more composed when he came on, plays the simple pass and looks to always hang on to ball until he finds a player in space. Milo looks a better player when Riedewald is playing too, which is a good thing.

If you believe the result was simply down to Wolves inadequacy, then Roy surely deserves no credit. He keeps praising the quality of the squad. You keep slating it and using it as an excuse for his totally inept tactical approach up to yesterday. Roy only proved he's got it wrong for 18 months. I find you more annoying than him to be fair. Forgive me if pointing out the obvious in blunt terms rude, I'm only trying to dumb it down to a level you understand. Roy to me sounded more frustrated with his squad then praising and Wolves clearly had more success moving the ball forwards but didn't help themselves from then onwards apart from say on three occasions. In the past we haven't been anywhere near Wolves with regards to quality in defending or moving the ball forwards, the only difference between the two sides yesterday was Eze's control and composure when an opportunity came his way because in all honesty we looked to me regardless of this wonderful adaptation of the 442 you appear to adore just as woeful with our movement and passing from the back as we have for the majority of the season. I find you more annoying than our players and thanks for dumbing your post down for me although it still appeared exactly the same as all your others.

I clearly saw Batshuayi pass and then remain perfectly still in a wing position and then watch the ball sail over for him to not be there lol so he wasn't playing centre forward at times either. Ayew can pass and move with the ball at his feet, shame the majority of the rest cannot.

I think the three across the middle, Ayew left, Eze Centre and Wilf right worked well, i hope we stick with that and jairo starting, and hopefully the new man will be the 1 we need on that system
