So Brentford have announced that they'll no longer be participating in the kneeling, mainly for most of the reasons mentioned here, that its lost its way and its impact and has simply gone on for far too long.
Unfortunately its true, they've pushed it for too long and now it's become a joke, a shambles to the point that clubs and players are taking the decision into their own hands.

The kick it out campaign can continue to fight inequality in a far more practical and influential way than this farcical display did. The Premier League need to actually put their heads together and think of something better than making all players and staff dance on command to say they've done something to fight racism and do something effective instead.

Unfortunately Brentfords decision, amongst other comments made by various professionals has sounded the knell for a very ignoble death of "taking the knee"

Apparently the players stood in the Ireland v France game on Sunday - I didn't see the start so missed it.
A sensible way forward to stop it needs to be found - one that everyone can back for the right reasons.
It needs to be stopped for sure - this online stuff is vile and unacceptable.

Best part of it ever was when Benteke set off up the right wing before realising it wasn’t kick off it was kneel. He then crept back to his start place.
Soooooo funny.

I think they've proposed to only do it before televised games. Probably so BT and Sky can still get excited by it!
