Beginning to see why the Scousers weren't all that sorry to sell Sakho although they were canny enough to get an inflated price. He is becoming a real liability.

Nobody good enough on the bench! Poor signings in the windows. We even had a guy admitting he knew very quickly he wasn’t good enough for the PL. Do your job Dougie and find a striker or find yourself a new job.

Parish hired him. Freedman has no credentials to have this job whatsoever. Buck stops with the chairman.

Rakip and Jach tell the story. Add in Sorloth, such a poor signing.

Not good enough. Meyer and Kouyate are good signings, if the manager plays them that is. We haven’t addressed glaring issues up front, and it’s not the first time. Bakary sako would walk into this side.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

The Everton fan summed it up - we aren’t a bad side. BUT we’ve scored five goals in nine. And with our striking options we will be lucky to score another goal before we play Everton again.

Each one of the players in our squad are capable of putting in a shift - and impressing.
The problem is, as demonstrated post match, is that Roy is a broken man.
Roy ought to retire, and hand over the reins so somebody with loads of dynamism.
Question is, who?

100% managers fault. 3 subs for Everton, 2 of them score. Fresh legs won the day. Wake up Roy for gods sake.

this. The bench is one of the most important parts of the team over 95 minutes. Somebody remind Roy that tired legs are useless legs.

Kayla did Anfield & Old Trafford

With the greatest of respect I fail to see what impact Sako would make. When he left us there wasn't a great clamour for his services, he eventually joined Championship side WBA and he hasn't played for them thus far.

You miss the point sir.

Our options up front are so lame that sako would walk into the team.

Even if he walked into this side I very much doubt he would make any significant impact and this is the point I was making.

The lack of 'Fire power' is deeply concerning.

If he had resigned for us he would have played in the pre season games plus quite a few since so would be match fit. Sako could have done for us what Tosun did for Everton yesterday as he knew where the goal was and possessed a thunderbolt of a foot (horrible footie cliché I know)

Sako spent two years tossing it off. Overweight and only started to pull his finger out when he was in the final year of his contract. Scored a couple of important goals last season but other than that and his first few games he was rubbish.
