Because of the nuanced issues in Britain, tweeting this will only create problems because some want the statement to stand on its own, without any debate of what it means or is needed to reach the goal of the message. I will not apologise for other peoples crimes nor do I see any white privilege I grew up on a council estate and went to a state school whatever I have I worked for. That same opportunity is available to nearly everybody if you don't take it that on you. That said if there is any compensation flying around on behalf of my family I would like to claim for the potato famine.
