With the greatest of respect I wasn't accusing you of "Fishing" at all.

In fact I respectfully answered your question :

"Just highlighting the points differential between what we have attained thus far and what I believe our relegation rivals could attain until the end of the season"

Let us hope we beat Watford tomorrow and if so the picture will change again.

WIillo is a troll. His analysis amount to jack. Stoke , Huddersfield , Southampton, Brighton have all got 4 games left while West Ham
Swansea have 5 games left. They could all pick up maximum points which means, Stoke would end up with 40, Southampton 41, Swansea 48, Huddersfield 46, and Brighton 48. We all know thats not going to happen. The reality is Southampton have only won one game in their last 20 and that was a lucky 2-1 against WBA. We on the other hand have won 2, lost 1 and drew 1 in our last 4 games. We also have the easier run in. If we can't pick up at least 3 points from our last three games it could be argued that we don't deserve to be in the PL. So lets not worry about how many points the others can get and worry about getting the three or four points required to be safe.

I totally reject your risible allegation about me being a "Troll" - total and utter piffle.
I am just a supporter (Since the 60s) engaging in discussion on HOL giving my honest opinion and viewpoint on an array of matters.

Regards your "Analysis", they cannot all pick up maximum points as some are playing each other ! And my analysis is supposed to be "Jack" !

All I have done is to look at the forthcoming fixtures of our rivals and arrive at a judgement as to their possible points attainment until the end of the season.Of course the picture can change due to unexpected results but I can only form a view as things stand.

We are certainly better placed that the teams below us in the relegation zone not just because of our position in the table but because of the points differential and hopefully the gap between us and them will widen even further after the Watford game.

Where do you think we will finish and on what points, Willo? I won't hold it against you if you're wrong, just genuinely interested in where you think we'll be after the last ball is kicked.

I said you are a troll because we have had five years of negativity from you. Its either aimed at getting a response, winding people up or you have a morose and a pessimistic personality, which can't be good for your health. I remember you saying that we were not going to pick up points from Bournemouth and Brighton and a month or so ago you were saying we were as good as relegated. How can you support a team when you have no faith in the players or its manager. Our team is good, better than most we have a competent and well respected manager, but had the misfortune of having a bad start and a horrendous amount of injuries. Nobody knows what tomorrow may bring and yes relegation is a possibility but at this point in time very unlikely.

This really is unadulterated piffle.

I post my honest and genuine opinion on here and don't post merely to try and gain a response or with the sole intent of raising hackles.

We have been in a relegation battle from the start of the season and are not 'Out of the woods' with only 4 games left so one can appreciate why my positivity has has been in somewhat short supply.

You question my support for the team - I have been a fervent supporter since the 60s and experienced all the peaks and troughs and of course the relegations.I don't want to experience one this season - I will be totally and utterly distraught and this is what the club means to me.

Finally I have never questioned the manager, indeed I have stated on here that he has done a terrific job, taking over a team in tatters and hauling us up from the bottom to outside the relegation zone.

FFS Give it a rest. Every F**ing thrad descends into a Will thread and TBH I'm sick of it.

Willo - we know your opinions - you post them on every thread. Please stick to 1 and ignore everything else.

Willo bashers - please stop baiting him. You know he's going to respond and its destroying pretty much every thread now.

Mods - I know its a discussion forum, but anything you can do to stop this cr*p from infecting every thread would help.

Totally agree.
We have all had enough of these tedious WILLO threads.

Let's return to the subject matter please.
This is a message I have repeated several times across several threads !!!!

Getting back to the thread, that is the relegation picture, there is no way we are going tp lose our last four games and of we did we deserve to be relegated. If it hadn’t been for FDB some horrendous injuries. Two injury time missed pens, and the lack of a striker we would probably finishing just behind the top six.

Fundamentally ‘with you’. But if it hadn’t been for FDB, I wonder who it would have been for instead...
