I don’t know why people are making out like he isn’t coming he had signed a pre contract and passed a medical ! The only way he isn’t coming is if we get relegated imo

I think it is simply not if, but when and how much. My point about a legal challenge being irrelevant to Getafe is if they think they have any grounds, no matter how slim they may decide to oppose it as they will now know the player will be gone in the summer at least. But, if they play the legality card the process to sort it out will take longer than to the end of the season so basically time works in their favor.

From Sky Sports transfer feed "GUAITA 'EXPECTED TO STAY' Getafe manager Jose Bordalas has today told a press conference that he expects Crystal Palace target Vicente Guaita to stay at the Spanish club beyond the January window. Guillem Balague revealed earlier this week that the goalkeeper had passed a medical with the Eagles but Palace were still considering whether or not to activate his £3.5m release clause or sign him on a free transfer in the summer. Bordalas said today ahead of a clash with Sevilla: "I think he will stay, I am convinced about that. I have spoken to my president about it. He is has now recovered from injury and has trained with his team mates and I think I can include him in our next game.”

We could do with two keepers, sign another one and get this guy on a free. Has it been confirmed he's signed a pre contract? If so get him for free in the summer!
