I wonder if you will criticise Jules as much as you do Wayne if he makes errors? Somehow I doubt it. He certainly let you down though did he not you are now out of the world cup due to "Flappers" last minute mistake?
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

I cant believe that after such a great win people have nothing better to do than go on about Wayne Hennessey. Spot on. We got at them from the off and caught them unawares, giving them no respect to play with. Thought they could just roll us over. Even when they equalised, poorly for us, heads did not drop but we kept going. Even in the last 10 mins we could of sealed the win. If we can reproduce this type of performance or even close then we won't be in the relegation spots at the end of the season. Edited by Booted Eagle (14 Oct 2017 8.11pm)

As far as today is concerned I don't blame Jules for the goal but if Wayne had been there people would be blaming him for not coming out to catch or punch the ball or saying he didn't move across quick enough to save the header. I did know that actually. But my comment was just a lighthearted joshing of what the previous poster said. It wasn't a dig at Wayne (I've never gone down that road) or Jules in any way whatsoever.

Tactical brilliance today from Roy and Ray. Thought he was mental putting Ward in ahead of TF-M and Palace playing with no wide players but the first twenty minutes the quality of the football was outstanding. His subs proved spot on.

I just knew it YT. I thought there was no way we were ever gonna score a 2nd goal especially as we were playing without a striker and I bet Joel Ward had a shocker!! Ollie's Dad,Ash. Indeed. And as for "so called" Wilf Zaha; total waste of space. Huddersfield should have kicked him a bit harder...

So was the defence in the Wales team but "Flapper" still let one in. Todays goal was not Jules's fault and the team felt secure with him behind them unlike when "Flapper" is behind them and they go to pieces. And when we were at the bottom end last season and staring down the barrel of relegation we beat Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool and those nine points saved us.

Yep, apologies, just got annoyed with the if this was WH everyone would have had a go at him about that goal stuff (which is rubbish, we'd have praised him). Didn't mean to exacerbate it after such an amazing game, where everybody played their f***ing hearts out. Edited by boo909 (14 Oct 2017 10.05pm)

The last minute he made a brave and excellent interception which is where he picked up his injury. If you mean the throw out to his captain who called for it then that is Williams fault not his.

As already mentioned i think it's the best I've seen from PVA in a Palace shirt. He finally looked bothered and i think if he can do that consistently he'll become a very valuable player for us. Also Sakho's passion to make up for his mistake before setting Zaha up was immense. Luka worked his socks off again, though i do worry about some of the mistakes he makes when he's running short on energy. Think people are missing out how good Cabeye is for us this season, picking up the ball and dictating play very well. May end up being his best season for us if we can build on this result.
