What can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

All you have is suspicion.

He didn't continually fire, if he's using tripods or resting the weapon barrel on ledges or the opening seen from the hotel room then fatigue is considerably reduced over ten minutes.

The aspect of recoil is a factor of accuracy and less about fatigue over a time frame like that. You nor I know the amount of recoil that those weapons produce anyway.

I know, hence my (possibly poor but it's the only thing anywhere near comparable in my life) analogy with a 2kg drill, as i've never held an air-rifle let alone shot a fully automatic assault rifle. Thanks, but 'Stuk' already cleared up this point.

As for ''suspicion''. If those involved can have doubts then so can we all.

You're a good poster in my view...just someone who likes conspiracy theories...I think perhaps it was just a little raw at the time.

Ditto.

And i wasn't born a cynic bud. When things/anything doesn't add-up, i just want to know why. It all started with discovering that the financial system that we've had forced upon us only ever enriches the few to sad events such as this that ultimately also only ever enriches the few.
I guess i'll die a cynic.

It just doesn't make sense, you can kicked out of a hotel in Las Vegas for smoking a cigarette in your room, but it's perfectly expectable to have an Arsenal capable of arming a small to medium sized country coup.

Absolutely barking.

Guns don't kill people. People kill people. But cigarettes... whole different ball game

In most cases when someone pulls a gun on you then you're not going to be prepared. I'd advise thinking on the spot. If it's robbery allow the robbery....if someone wants to tie you up, fight....better to go down that way.

I rather think they help. Shouting Pew ! Pew ! doesn't really have the same authoritarian finality about it as a red hot peice of pointy lead, traveling with maximum velocity and maximum purpose, in and through someone's bonce.

Yup. Can't help feel that some people that get hold of a gun find that they burn a hole in their pocket. In the end they just have to try using them.
