Good to see Hennessy hasn't been affected by all the changes. His usual limp wristed self.

He is absolute cr@p and still has not kept a clean sheet....when will our managers ever learn as he needs some time in the under 21's to get it into his head he needs to move himself and pay much more attention to the game and catch the fecking ball not give it to the opposing team. His goal kicks are straight to the other team as well

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

It was a game with very few efforts on goal by either side-especially us as a home team.Obvious changes: Fosu-Mensah to R.B and Sakho and maybe Tomkins for Dann, Zaha back, but I'm not sure we'll produce enough chances, especially if teams kick Zaha like Huddesfield did. All we can do is hope and not turn on the players-their confidence is low enough as it is.

I sense this is the relegation season. We've got Utd, City and Chelsea to come, and unless we do something miraculous, we'll have no points from 8 games, and I don't see how we'll recover.

Yep. Will have to have huge Nov and Dec, carried over to Xmas where we always seem to struggle into New Year. Damage could already be done. Expected to lose a few early on but the inability to score is depressing.

Wonder what the odds are for going all season without scoring a goal. Might put £1 on and retire to the Bahamas.

I doubt it you'll only get 10/1

I don't normally get too 'down' when we lose tbh but the start to this season is f***ing appalling.

Me too , but this is looking grim, we need a miracle after only 5 games, quite unbelievable!

Optimistically, that still leaves 30 games with a potential 90 points to play for. That means we can drop another 50 points and still finish on 40.

I love your optimism!

Other lost and we can't score a goal. Pressure is on Roy now to get his first win. Next game it's a much win.

To concede 70% possession to any team at home in the first 20 mins is a recipe for disaster. They settled and we even gifted them a goal to compound their ease. A good side you can understand those stats but I'm afraid this season we just don't look up to the levels of any of our supposed rivals.

I am afraid we are stuck with "Flapper" in goal until Roy twigs he is sh1t like we all know he is. Wayne Couldn't catch a cold!

Don't worry. I'm going to put a tenner on Palace winning at the Etihad. You just know it's the Palace way.

On second thoughts, maybe I won't.
