What we have to try and avoid now is getting a pasting next week against Citeh, which would affect our gd. Our gd is effectively an extra point at the minute. Try and get a 0-0 then put all the eggs into the hull game as it were. If swansea lose to Utd tomo, they would effectively need to win their last 3 games to overtake us due to our current gd.

Have we taken a single point from a Sat late kick off all season? It seems as though the team would much rather be watching celebrity pointless!

Hennessey isn't sh*t. He's just not good enough at this level. Having a top notch central defensive pairing in front of him for the last couple of months has concealed his shortcomings. Apart from the Chelsea game, he really hasn't had much to do for a long time. We can, and should, find better. Hennessey not to blame for either. Ist was point blank all a keeper can do is go to ground and hope and the second Gray was not running in at a tight angle so he couldnt go too close to his post otherwise Gray would have all the rest of the goal to aim at.

2 huge Swansea games coming up. Defeat tomorrow and they have to beat Everton to overtake us. Their 2 other games look like bankers but still lots of football to be played. COYP !!

'Wilf, a yard onside' - 'That's a game changer' - Ian Wright on BT sport. Also supported the penalty claim. 1-1 vs 10 -man burnely would mean a very different result. WH has been poor all season. He looks like a scared child most of the time. We have several championship players that are just not up to it in this league.

Just back from the match - haven't seen the replays. So Wilf wasn't offside before Heaton smashed him down. Is that what you are saying? Just watched the replay so can answer my own question. Wilf clearly onside. Heaton brought him down. Should have been eleven against ten. Instead it was eleven against twelve, as per usual. Terrible decision by the lino, just shockingly wrong. Agree it was tight but that's what they're paid to get right. Total "w*nker" (quote marks for "Willo" who doubtless will be telling us what a fine game Madley and his linos had, worthy of "Clattenburg" himself.)

Jesus H Christ. It all rests on the Hull match now: without a creditable defence, our giant-slaying days are over. I'm off to drink a pint of Grappa, in the hope it makes the world a better-looking place.
