People care most about what is closest to them and what they have in common.

The post you’ve quoted above doesn’t really support your 90% of parents claim - I agree there’s cultural issues, but I think your numbers are massively over-egging it, and as I said previously, there are a huge number of good people who have their lives ruined by knife crime through no fault of their own; they are no less deserving of investment, and the fact there is more of them logically means I believe they are deserving of more. Framing it as ‘cracking a nonce ring’ is not the reality - they’ve poured millions into this investigation and got no where; what makes you think that will change, and at which point would you consider it acceptable to stop?

You really struggle to just hold a civil exchange don’t you? This is a forum; people are going to challenge your views from time to time - don’t take it so personally.

The post you’ve quoted above doesn’t really support your 90% of parents claim - I agree there’s cultural issues, but I think your numbers are massively over-egging it, and as I said previously, there are a huge number of good people who have their lives ruined by knife crime through no fault of their own; they are no less deserving of investment, and the fact there is more of them logically means I believe they are deserving of more.

I doubt there has been any missing child case here that's had more time and money thrown at it than this one.

Police resources would be better spent on other missing children, especially considering that breakthroughs and positive outcomes are far more likely to come after days and weeks rather than decades.
