No, I'm not (that's not his name by the way). I'd defend any player on here that was being unfairly picked on. Re 'childish' remarks - Silurian alleged that Hennessey shrugged his shoulders after the first goal went in. I was there - that did not happen, and it's a slur (and childish) to suggest it did. cant recall if it were the first or second goal but for one of them, he got up, walked to his right side post, picked up his water bottle and had a slurp. no reaction at all. as good as a shrug. he didnt scream at anyone, or gesticulate to pass on the blame as so often happens. Just dusted himself down and went to carry on like nothing had happened.

It's as without foundation as the idea that Speroni will miraculously give our defence more confidence. Sure it might appease some fans, but why are people so convinced that it will have the effect on the players? Why are you so convinced that it won't? Even Guardiola changed his keeper despite defending him as if he would never drop him and look at their results since. For God's sake you people who don't want JS back at any cost are really just kidding yourselves or are just as stubborn as Pardew was and that got him the sack !

Although I don't rate WH. Our plight is a confidence issue, not lack of ability.
Yannick Bolasie - Glenn Murray - Wilfried Zaha Most exciting attacking trio at Selhurst Park in years. |

It won't make any difference, the basic problems are we can't defend as a team.

Hennessey has poor positioning, is weak and s***s his pance with anyone running at him. Hopefully Sako will be fit to play and can mark Crouch. I would put Speroni in ahead of WH every day of the week regardless of opposition.

But thinking about it taller doesn't mean better or stronger, especially with Hennessey ! Still think for some reason come 3pm saturday Hennessey will still be there. I said on another thread why did Speroni get a new deal if he was never going to play?!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Do you know, I feel exactly the same when I see that picture of you, with that stupid look on your boat, cosying up the Freedman.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
