Not only have I been underwhelmed by Van Aarnholt, but to put his arm round Defoe whilst smiling and joking says it all. It doesn't matter if Palace (that's us, not these 'players') go down, coz they'll still have their Bentleys.

Don't mean to keep the tone at rock bottom but it amazes me how no one saw this coming , allardyce hardly ever beats his ex teams Defoe loves scoring against us it's Sunderland at home which we barely win and also they were gunning for us with the pva comments ...... oh and one more thing we are complete crap !

Why didn't we get that Silva bloke, who is manager at Hull. They sold their 2 best players, now keep winning. Proof it is the managers fault.

I'll accept your apology if you admit Pardew is better than Sam I don't think things would be much different if Pardew was still in charge. He was taking us down. He had to go but should have gone at the end of last season giving Allardyce or whoever else all pre-season.

maybe folks on here could explain again why this was better than under Pardew and that to lose at home by 4 goals to a team below us is all the fault of the last manager as I can't quite see it myself. Poor in defence has been replaced by poorer in finances, still poor in defence and now toothless up front. Mr Parish you clearly do not know what you are doing.

One word to sum this up : UGLY, from the performance, manager's face and the fan altercations. In the past such as Norwich home and Cardiff away we have put in real shifts, this was the complete opposite. This is now a huge task, more than the last 2 seasons to turn this around as we have sunk a lot lower. Only crumb of comfort will come in Boro, Leicester and Swansea defeats but that is a very thin thread.

It is a short term fix, but the reality is the pressure is on the manager and players to turn this around. I just wishes Scott Dann good luck...he looked at me and gave me half a smile. The players care ...don't kid yourself they have given up. To drop down would see a number of players have salaries cut in half, crowds drop and the prospect of a quick return be pretty slim. Got to keep supporting and hope fellas. Stick with the manager, rotate the team and hopefully with a bit of luck you never know.
